Risk-Benefit Assessment (RBA) of food poses significant scientific challenges given the need to weigh the nutritional and health benefits of food types against the potential health risks from hazards such as contaminants being present in food. EFSA would like to invite experts in this field to take part in a scientific colloquium in February 2022. The discussions and key outcomes of the colloquium will help to inform the future update of the EFSA Scientific Committee’s guidance on RBA from 2010. Don’t miss the opportunity to shape this important future work!
More details about the programme and how to register for the scientific colloquium will be available on EFSA’s website and in the EFSA Highlights newsletter by the end of November 2021.
